Large Tropical Terrarium Workshop

Join us at Atlantic Gardening Company on Saturday, January 31st from 12:00pm - 1:30pm to create your own lush, miniature jungle in our hands-on Advanced Tropical Terrarium Workshop! Perfect for plant lovers ready to take their skills to the next level, this immersive session guides you through the art and science of designing a thriving tropical ecosystem. In this workshop, you'll work with a curated selection of 2" and 4" tropical plants, artfully combining textures, colors, and heights to build depth and visual interest. You'll also learn to layer essential materials—live moss, rocks, pebbles, activated charcoal, and a touch of desert sand—to create the ideal foundation for healthy, long-lasting plant life. All of this comes together in a beautiful 9.25" x 11" glass terrarium, providing a striking canvas for your living creation. Along the way, we’ll explore advanced design principles, plant care tips, and long-term maintenance strategies to ensure your tropical landscape flourishes. All materials included. No previous experience required, but a passion for plants is encouraged!
